Affiliate Disclosure
Required Disclosure — FTC 16 CFR Part 255
PerkBook may earn a commission if you apply for or are approved for a credit card through links on this website or app. This means we have a financial relationship with some card issuers and affiliate networks. This compensation does not affect which cards we include in our library, how we present benefit information, or how we rank or compare cards. We are committed to providing accurate, unbiased benefit data regardless of affiliate relationships.
01 How Affiliate Links Work
When you click a "Apply Now" or similar link on PerkBook, you may be directed to a card issuer's website or an affiliate network's landing page. If you submit an application through that link and are approved, PerkBook may receive a referral commission.
The commission comes from the card issuer or affiliate network — not from you. You pay nothing extra. The card's terms, fees, interest rates, and welcome offers are the same whether you apply through PerkBook or directly through the issuer's website.
02 Our Commitment to You
Does affiliate compensation affect what cards appear in PerkBook?
No. Cards are included in our library based on their relevance to users tracking credit card benefits — not on whether we have an affiliate relationship with the issuer. Many cards in our library have no affiliate arrangement at all.
Does it affect how benefit information is presented?
No. Benefit data — credits, perks, annual fees, reward rates — is sourced from publicly available issuer documentation and is presented as accurately as possible regardless of affiliate status. We do not inflate or downplay any card's benefits based on compensation.
Does it affect card comparisons or recommendations?
No. Our comparison tools present the data you enter and the card's documented benefits. PerkBook does not algorithmically rank or promote cards based on commission rates.
Is PerkBook affiliated with or endorsed by any card issuer?
No. PerkBook is an independent product operated by PerkBook. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Chase, American Express, Capital One, Citi, or any other card issuer or payment network. Card names, issuer names, and network logos are trademarks of their respective owners.
03 Benefit Accuracy & Card Terms
Credit card benefits, annual fees, reward rates, and promotional offers are subject to change by card issuers at any time without notice to PerkBook. While we make every effort to keep our card library up to date, we cannot guarantee that all information is current.
Always verify the current terms directly with the card issuer before applying.
- Benefit values listed in PerkBook reflect documented issuer terms, not guaranteed outcomes
- Welcome offer eligibility varies — issuers set their own rules for who qualifies
- Annual fee amounts, credit limits, and APRs are subject to change and individual creditworthiness
04 Not Financial Advice
Nothing on PerkBook — including card comparisons, benefit valuations, usage suggestions, or affiliate links — constitutes financial, legal, tax, or credit advice. PerkBook is an informational tool.
The decision to apply for a credit card involves factors including your credit score, income, existing debt, and personal financial goals. These are individual decisions and PerkBook encourages you to consult a qualified financial professional if you are uncertain.
05 FTC Compliance
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials in advertising (16 CFR Part 255), which require clear and conspicuous disclosure of material connections between publishers and advertisers.
